The Chillicothe Art League held the grand opening of their 16th annual spring exhibition Thursday evening. It's the main event of the group that raises funds for scholarships for schoolchildren.
More than a hundred works in all mediums by 75 artists are on display, with eight receiving awards. This opening usually gets a big crowd, around 200 every year.
The Art League has been "promoting interest in the visual arts" since 1949, and the Pump House can get you in contact with them.
The free show is available for a month in the Pump House Center for the Arts in Yoctangee Park.
