Chillicothe Mayor Jack Everson says the city will be taking applications for Owner Rehabilitation projects from February 1st through February 15th. Applications may be submitted to the CHIP office located on the first floor at 35 South Paint Street.
The purpose of this program is to rehabilitate a one-family housing unit, which is owned and occupied by low and moderate income households. The home must be located within the Chillicothe city limits.
This program provides up to $35,000 to low-income homeowners for the purpose of eliminating existing substandard housing conditions.
Interested parties may call 773-8034 or stop in the office to pick up an application.
