Four Apprehended on Arrest Warrants

Authorities from the Ross County Sheriff's Office say they found several people with arrest warrants at a home on Blain Highway, Monday.

According to Sheriff George Lavender, authorities went to 70 Blain Highway to serve an arrest warrant to 39-year-old Wesley Zimmerman, who, without incident, was arrested for a parole violation.

At the home, however, authorities also found that occupants 42-year-old Mark Kiser had a Chillicothe warrant for failure to serve 30 days and another from Pike County, 39-year-old Jason Burton had a warrant for rape, and 36-year-old Denise Kennison had a warrant for receiving stolen property.

According to Sheriff Lavender, Zimmerman, Kiser, and Burton were arrested and taken to the Ross County Jail, while Kennison was arrested and transported by the Pike County Sheriff's Office.

Mark Kiser's first name was incorrectly given as Jason in an earlier news release from the Sheriff's Office.
